Beekeeping for Beginners

I created a book utilizing the typographic style and presenting the topic of beekeeping for beginners. I created a handbound book that uses special materials, a hand-binding technique, and a Turkish map fold to give it a pop-up feel. Before designing this project, I researched both typography as a style and what a beekeeper needs to know before starting beekeeping. I then created sketches of what I wanted the book to look like. Next, I designed the book in Illustrator, focusing on typographic layouts. I incorporated specialty finishes and learned to use tools such as a laser engraver to produce the book's final hardcover. This allowed me to produce an interactive book that combines typography with production techniques, expanding my technical skills and design versatility.
