My Dynamic Mood App

I designed an app prototype that could be used as a mood tracker, as well as the app icon and its logo. This allowed me to create a cohesive, user-friendly design system around a music theme. To address this theme, I used ideation methods such as mind mapping and Crazy 8s. I then researched existing apps to understand their design systems and how they functioned to help inform my decisions when building the app. The music-based theme helped me hone in on what I wanted the app icon and logo to be. After composing some base sketches, I created the logo and icon in Adobe Illustrator. To prototype the app, I built wireframes in Figma to make the prototype function. Then, to ensure the prototype was functioning smoothly, I conducted user testing with real users.
