Public Library Advertisement

I designed an advertisement for the Craighead County Public Library targeting a 32-year-old mother with two young children. To do this, I repositioned the library as a modern, family-friendly space by reinforcing this through visits or online interaction. I conducted research on the library’s website and social media, as well as doing an in-person visit. Using brainstorming exercises, I developed multiple headlines and sketches, which were refined through group critiques. I focused on challenging misconceptions and challenged the target audience's view of the library as an environment for families. This allowed me to deliver a strategic, audience-focused advertisement that reframes the library’s image and encourages interest and engagement from the target audience.
